This young athlete has considerable online presence
The young golfer will have multiple well-known supporters as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she revealed.
She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa practically suggested to go out there and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments recently and maintains the 461st position in AJGA standings.
But she's able to receive tips from golf legend, who is dating her mother.
"He represents the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."
Kai will face several the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that her participation exposes the sport to wider groups, especially with younger fans.
The young star has substantial online presence and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
